✈️ A Story About a Trip to Vietnam – Series 1: Hello, Hanoi !

When I hear the word Vietnam, what comes to mind is: "Maybe this is one of the most affordable countries in Asia!" 😄

Our trip to Vietnam started from Hanoi, the capital city. Just like any other busy capital—Hanoi is alive, crowded, and reminds me a lot of Jakarta, Indonesia. Everyone seems to be hustling, running their own businesses, and just like in many parts of Asia, not all Vietnamese people speak English fluently. But that’s part of the charm.

In Hanoi, you can visit old American war forts, historical remnants from the Vietnam–America War. One of the most magical spots in the city is the Old Quarter, where a beautiful lake lies in the heart of the town. This area is always full of tourists, soaking in the Hanoi atmosphere.

One of my favorite (and craziest) experiences was sitting just a few feet away from a passing train, right next to the railway tracks—while sipping coffee or juice at a tiny cafe. It was thrilling, terrifying, and hilarious all at once! Definitely a must-try when you're in Hanoi!

So that’s it for Trip Series 1: Vietnam.
Stay tuned—more fun stories coming soon on my blog! ✨ Next. Hanoi and Fashion Style :)
